The fabrication process in model form begins with 7" coffee stirrers.  The shorter sticks are equal to 7"x .7071in length.

Glue and clamp the two pairs of shorter sticks at precisely 90 degrees.

Now glue and clamp a pair of the longer sticks at precisely 90 degrees.

Now glue and clamp the second pair of longer sticks at precisely 90 degrees.

When the glue has dried completely squeeze the longer ends together and clamp them.

Now add the surface pieces by inserting them between the opposing pairs of sticks as shown.

This completes the fabrication of the modeling panels for the Spiral Architectural Element.

This is a good start for learning about the Spiral Architecture System.  We will go through the means and techniques for doing the full scale elements in a later post.
